BIO/ABOUT RYAN: A native Oregonian, Ryan received his B.A. in Communication Arts from George Fox University and graduated with a 4.0 GPA... then promptly began working for himself, which didn’t even require a resumé! Prior to starting Focal Point he was a two-time 400m national champion in track & field and competed professionally through 2004. His incredible wife of 12 years is Kristin, and together they are blessed with three beautiful preschool-aged sons: Tyce, Jaimon and Treyson. In between weddings Ryan has travelled and shot extensively in Central and South America, including trips to Bolivia, Peru, Guatemala, Panama and Honduras. With over 170 weddings filmed since starting the company in 2004, Ryan continues to genuinely enjoy the creativity and freedom of his job... and he doesn’t mind all the fantastic reception food either! ;)
